Kindy-Tech Response to RFP
Edtech 505 - Response to RFP

This artifact is a written response to a Request For Proposal (RFP) from Far West Laboratories. Included in this response is a plan to incorporate evaluation, task scheduling, and a breakdown of the budget. The evaluation plan includes planning for market research, review of materials, and a program review. To monitor the progress of the evaluation, the task scheduling includes dates and deliverables to keep the evaluation on track. The budget includes personnel descriptions, costs, and expenses associated with the evaluation project.

This artifact put project management into perspective for me. I use these skills when I designed a presentation to represent our school in a school board meeting. The project involved multiple teachers and administrators in my building contributing to the project. Some of the contributors needed time to plan, create, and/or acquire the materials they wanted to be represented to the school board. I led a meeting with those involved and made a list of materials to include in the presentation. The materials were noted with due dates and responsible party. Working back from the presentation date, each contributor was given a deadline for when to submit the material for inclusion in the presentation.
