Edtech 505 - Evaluation Project

This artifact is an evaluation of www.PlanbookEdu.com's product. The purpose of this evaluation is to determine if the lesson-planning feature of www.PlanbookEdu.com meets basic plan book criteria. The product passed the evaluation and I have adopted this product in my classroom. I have since shared this product with other teachers in my school and now roughly half of the teachers use this product. The administration sees the value in this product and has paid for the teachers' subscriptions this year and will pay for the subscription next year as well.

Edtech 501 - School Evaluation Summary

This artifact is my Technology Maturation Evaluation. This artifact highlighted the need for my school to include s technology use plan. After many discussions with the school leader, she decided against creating a technology use plan. She has instead created a technology committee. The technology committee is made up of teachers from different grade levels to represent the teachers more effectively. The committee meets monthly and discusses what technology needs the school has. The committee also discusses the progress of implementation and incorporation of previously purchased technologies. So far, the committee has met for three years. It appears the committee will continue to meet into the near future as well.
